Announcing the release of mxMail/mxFtp Ver 1.03

Both applications are covered by the Gnu General Public License.

mxMail is a X/Motif mail client. It allows use of multiple mailboxes, viewing
of individual messages in a user friendly format, as well as composition of
mail. It is MIME compliant, allowing sending of attachments of many different
types.

mxFtp is a X/Motif FTP client. It provides a user interface to the process of
file transfer, displaying local and remote filesystems and providing an
interface to the main FTP commands. It also provides feedback on transfer of
files TO the local system.

Changes since Version 1.00
- --------------------------
mxMail
1. Fix to a bug whereby the HOST environment variable was assumed to be set.
2. Change to Compose option so that when replying, the Cc field is filled in
   as per the original message.
3. Change to the message display component so that Cc is shown on the display
   of messages (rather than just for composing messages).
4. Change to the From field on the message display component to show the
   name AND mail-address.
5. Change to the use of the mail-box selector component so that if any new
   folders are created whilst mxMail is active they are recognized by the
   component and are selectable.
6. Change to the recognisation of MIME tags to allow for mailers using
   capitals for the MIME tags.
7. Included the idea of messages being 'read'. Any 'unread' message appears
   in the message list with a * alongside.
8. Addition of an option to save all 'read' INBOX messages into a file upon
   closing of the INBOX display panel.
9. Now supports decoding of messages sent with 'quoted-printable' encoding.
10.Very basic installation script included.

mxFtp
No changes since Ver 1.00

Both applications are available as mxapps-1.03.tar.gz and will be available
on ftp.x.org and its mirrors within a day or so
(contrib/applications directory)
